How to Add Consulting to Your Current Business Model with Kiva Slade

Are you wondering how consulting could fit into your business?

Today I am joined by my good friend, Kiva Slade, and she is going to be talking about how she added consulting into her business model.

Kiva is the CEO and Owner of The 516 Collaborative.

She is a Director of Operations and Certified Online Business Manager® who partners with mid 6-7 figure business owners serving as their confidante, voice of reason, and manager of operations, teams, and projects.

Kiva holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and has operated her own jewelry business. Her 20 years of experience run the gamut from Legislative Director for a Congress member to chief encouragement officer for her teenage children.

In her free time, you can find her indulging in gluten-free desserts, playing in the dirt in her garden, or with a good book.

Today on the show, Kiva will be talking about how she added consulting into her business model, what resistances came up for her in the process, and she is giving advice on how to know if consulting is something that you would want to add to your own business model.

If you have questions about consulting, this is such a great conversation because Kiva and I are getting into it all.

On Today’s Show You’ll Learn:

  • How consulting can fit into your business
  • Why people will pay for consulting
  • When offering consulting might be right for you
  • How you can give people hope and help them achieve their dreams
  • Why you don’t have to have it all figured out
  • What people really want from you
  • How to pick the right wording
  • The value of having hard conversations
  • The amount of time you can expect to spend with consulting clients
  • How you can transition your current clients to consulting clients

Hopefully we were able to answer some of your questions, but if not, feel free to reach out to me! I’d love to help you figure out whether or not consulting is right for you.
