I regularly meet with a group of women who are leaders in my industry. We share ideas, hash out frustrations, and lift each other up. It’s one of the most positive experiences in my professional life.
Many people might see us as “competitors,” and it’s certainly easy to view your peers as competition. The truth is that we have different business models, individual experiences, and unique expertise that set us apart, even though we’re in the same space.
In today’s episode, I’m sharing the value of building relationships with your peers, and why it’s important to find communities and circles that feel right for you. Building relationships is not only a great way to have trusted connections that you can bounce ideas off of and share wins with, it is also an opportunity for networking, referring, and growing your business.
On Today’s Show You’ll Learn:
- Why it’s important to build relationships with your peers and other leaders in your space [01:43]
- How to find and connect with your peers [04:24]
- Information about my brand new membership community for leaders [06:37]
- Why it’s helpful to do an audit of where you spend your time and make sure you’re a part of supportive, energetically-aligned communities [12:14]
