Kajabi Cons

Overall, Kajabi is a game-changer, but if I could change one thing and make it better, it would be the community feature. I used to run most of my groups on Facebook, because of its community structure, and have started to move them to Heartbeat (since late 2022).

More people are familiar with Facebook, so it was easier to leave comments and reply to others in the group, vs. having to fumble around Kajabi’s community solution.  My clients continued to express a desire to move off of social media, which is one of the reasons we started to use Heartbeat. 

KAJABI UPDATE [December 2022]

As I’m updating this post in December 2022, it was just announced last month that Kajabi has acquired Vibely.    

These new community features, according to Kajabi, “will enable you to go beyond surface-level engagement to captivate your audience, turn members into advocates, and grow your business using SSO (Single sign-on).” 

It is currently in BETA and I was just invited to join.  I am not sure that we will as we have everything currently set up on Heartbeat, but it’s certainly a consideration. 

I also love that you can access Heartbeat via app, for both Android and Apple, as well as a desktop option.  You don’t have to log into a platform each time you want to engage, which is still a downside of using the new community feature on Kajabi.
